Terms of use
The rules for using Bare Truth. Bare Truth contains sexual content and is for adults aged 18 and over only. By creating an account or using the apps or this website you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are
Bare Truth is provided by SELLTICKETS Ltd, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, licence no. 07011340, Office A, Innovation City Business Centre, RAK Bank ROC Office, Ground Floor, Al Rifaa, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected]. How we use your data, including your answers, is explained in the privacy policy.
2. Adults only
You must be 18 or older, or the age of adulthood where you live if that is higher, and allowed by the law where you are to see sexual content. Don't let anyone under 18 use your account or watch a game, and play only with adults who want to play this kind of game. One account per person; keep your Apple or Google sign-in safe, because what happens in your account is your responsibility. We close accounts we believe belong to someone under 18.
3. The apps and this website
The apps are free to download. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial fun. We may change, add or remove features, question decks and skins. We try to keep the game running, but we can't promise it is always available or free of errors. You need an internet connection to play.
The content. The questions are frank and suggestive, about desire, dating and sex, but never graphic. Everyone in a game has chosen to join it, and anyone can leave a game at any time. Answer only what you are comfortable sharing with the people in the room.
Ads. The apps show no ads from ad networks. At breaks and on calm screens they may show our own house ads, for example for our other apps; never on a question or answer screen.
This website sells nothing. It explains the game, hosts these terms and the privacy policy, and opens invite links. All purchases happen inside the apps.
4. Buying question decks
- The deck Bare Basics is free. Other decks (such as Turn-Ons, After Dark and The Morning After) are sold as in-app purchases, and only inside the apps. You buy them through the App Store or Google Play, which take the payment, charge any taxes and handle refunds under their own terms. We never see your card details. To ask for a refund, use Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play's order history.
- Each deck is a one-time purchase ($4.99 in the US; the store shows the price in your currency before you confirm). There are no subscriptions.
- Only the host needs to own a deck. When you host a game with a deck you own, everyone in that game plays it free. The other players don't get the deck for games they host themselves.
- A deck you buy is digital content linked to your Bare Truth account. Restore it on a new device by signing in with the same account and tapping Restore purchases in Settings. It is for your own use, has no cash value and can't be transferred or resold.
- Right to cancel (UK, EU and similar laws): a deck is unlocked as soon as you buy it. When you buy, you ask for it to be delivered at once and accept that you then lose the 14-day right to cancel. This does not affect your rights if the deck is faulty or not as described.
- If we retire a deck you bought, we keep it playable for you or replace it with similar content. If we ever stop the service completely, we tell you in advance.
5. Playing fair, kind and safe
Bare Truth only works when everyone trusts the room. Don't use names, photos, typed answers or reports that:
- bully, harass, threaten, pressure or shame anyone;
- share someone's private or intimate information, or anything another player said in a game, outside the game without their permission — no screenshots or recordings of other players' answers;
- in your name or photo, are sexual, nude or suggestive (answers may be frank; names and photos may not);
- involve anyone under 18 in any sexual way, describe sexual acts without consent, or encourage violence, harm or illegal acts;
- are hateful or discriminatory, pretend to be someone else, or spam or advertise;
- break someone else's rights, such as copyright or privacy.
Don't cheat, use bots, copy or resell our questions, reverse-engineer the apps beyond what the law allows, attack or overload the service, or try to get at other people's accounts or data.
6. What you put in
Your name, photo and typed answers stay yours. You let us store them, show them to the players you play with, and check them for safety, only to run the game. The questions, decks, skins, artwork, sounds and the apps themselves belong to us or our licensors.
7. Reports and moderation
Players can report content and other players. We may remove or hide content, reset a name or photo, or block an account that breaks these terms. If we block your account, write to us if you think it was a mistake; we look at it again. Blocking for breaking these terms does not entitle you to a refund of purchases, except where the law says otherwise.
8. Ending
You can stop playing and delete your account at any time (see deleting your account). Deleting your account does not cancel or refund purchases made through the App Store or Google Play. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
9. Liability
The game is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, for loss of data you didn't ask us to keep, or for what other players write, say or do with what they saw in a game, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud), or your rights as a consumer.
10. Apple App Store
If you got the app from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no duty to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims about it (product liability, failure to meet legal requirements, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims); we are. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (which is free); Apple has no other warranty duty. You confirm you are not in a country under a US government embargo or on a US list of prohibited parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow the App Store's own terms of use.
11. Google Play
If you got the app from Google Play: these terms are between you and us, not Google, and you must also follow the Google Play Terms of Service. Purchases follow Google Play's refund policies.
12. Changes, disputes and law
We will tell you in the app before important changes to these terms apply; if you don't agree, you can stop using the app and delete your account. Please write to us first if something goes wrong — most problems are solved that way. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and the courts of Ras Al Khaimah have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere you keep the protections of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
